Debbie Keil-Leavitt, has been practicing astrology since 1972 and

In addition to years of
experience as a traditional astrologer, Debbie sought additional
specialized training and research to develop her unique offerings.
She is one of a small number of astrologers who are certified in
Astro*Carto*Graphy and Egyptian Star Parans (whole sky astrology). Both
are rigorous courses that only certify a limited number of practitioners.
Debbie was tutored by Mythic
Astrologer, Arielle Guttman in both mapping and mythic astrology.
Arielle was one of the late Jim Lewis’s
(link to Continuum site)
original students. A*C*G was developed by the
brilliant Mr. Lewis. Debbie was trained in Ancient Egyptian Star Parans
(whole sky readings that include the heliacal rise/setting of prominent
stars with which many of our ancient sites and cathedrals are aligned).
Debbie was certified by the highly-respected (and also brilliant)
astrological pioneer Bernadette Brady in this Ancient Egyptian
Method. Mastering both techniques has allowed Debbie to effectively apply
the stars beyond the zodiac/full sky to her
astrological mapping, counseling, research and lectures.
Debbie has lectured and led workshops
on these varied subjects since 2002, including tours of ancient sites in
Europe*. She has
provided articles and research data for various publications regarding
mythology/astrology, including the mythic implications and challenges
faced by today’s celebrities**.
Debbie’s latest extensive research
regarding the newly discovered (dwarf) planets at the edge of our
Solar System has
brought enough information for her to now do counseling and teaching in
this area, as well. These
new discoveries
include sea goddesses Sedna and
Hawaii’s Haumea and
god/birdman Makamake from mysterious Rapa Nui (Easter Island or Isla de
Pascuale). In addition, Debbie is enjoying applying
the myth of her own inspirational energy for many years, the creator/creatrix
Quaoar of Southern California, home of
Hollywood, CalTech,
JPL, Debbie’s beloved
Ballona Wetlands, and beyond).
Through these studies, working
with another great instructor/colleague/aviation specialist,
Philip
Sedgwick,
she has uncovered a rich body of new astrological knowledge.
Her studies indicate that these planets are not only near
Pluto’s size and in
his realm, but that they offer mythological stories and energies that
describe our lives through our
astrological readings. These wonderful
energies, just recently recognized by a few astrologers, can be utilized
for healing processes and potent energies for realization of one’s
purpose. They are proving to be as potent as Pluto, a
huge factor in astrological readings!
A long-time specialty and love of
Debbie’s is aviation safety. She served as a
technical writer in
this area for more than 10 years, and had the privilege of being named an
"Outstanding Young Woman of America” in 1987, as well as receiving a
special honor from the
Airline Pilots Association, for this work. Debbie is also a sailor
and pilot who has a Certificate in Aviation Safety from USC.
Applying her large astrological database to aviation safety matters
is another blend of information she enjoys. With her
love of travel and aviation, Debbie enjoys planning tours with her travel
professional partner,
Jill Connors.

in the process of developing a beautiful book with her favorite artist,
Susan Tower ,
that will include the new goddesses, bird men/gods, Quaoar, other creator/creatrix
